this ALWAYS HAPPENS! especially when we go to entrance at cultus lake. And not just with BBQ burgers and hot dogs! All the different families parked around the beach from every culture imaginable are making everything from deep fried chicken in a special portable deep frier to souvlaki on the grill to steak on a bed of greens smothered in hoisin to full blown 15 course feasts! And i look at my sandwich, which on any other beach would likely be the envy of all, and i die a little on the inside.
i’m being dramatic, obviously… This can happen in your back yard, too, when you smell what your neighbors are BBQing and you look at your plate of Kraft Mac and Cheese and sigh to yourself. The difference is, on the beach, you can see the food as well as smell it. Envy! Envy is a dangerous thing!
